Greedy

Greedy

In this painting titled 'Greedy', colors blend in a frenetic dance. Dark and intense hues clash, creating a whirlwind of emotions. At the center of this tumultuous canvas, an intense gaze captures attention, expressing an insatiable thirst. Lines and forms burst forth in ardent desire, reflecting the devouring passion that consumes our planet's soul. Each brushstroke seems to absorb the surrounding energy, creating a palpable tension. 'Greedy' invites the viewer to plunge into the abyss of their own desires and explore the meanders of human greed at the expense of Mother Earth.

Pollution 01

Pollution 01

Pollution 01 is a striking illustration of the very nature of pollution. The upside down position of the African map represents pollution, which is actually a state of disorder, of chaos, in the natural disposition of the different layers of the earth 🌍. Thus petrol is taken from the underground and transformed into various elements including plastic bags which end up in the soils, rivers and seas polluting them. Moreover the burning of plastic based products like tires, produces toxic gases which damage the ozone layer and deteriorate our health.

Earth Canary

Earth Canary

This artwork addresses the theme of agroecology, created with acrylic paint and small ruminant excrement. It draws inspiration from the daily life of rural women who bear the heavy responsibility of supplying their households with water by carrying it from streams in a clay pot (canari). For this water to reach its destination and save lives, she must carry the pot with the utmost delicacy. Similarly, for our planet, Earth, to continue providing us with necessities for life, we must take careful care of it. This can be done through eco-responsible practices in agriculture, using traditional techniques for land conservation such as crop association and rotation, composting, agroforestry, rotational grazing, etc.
